Joseph and Julia Neville were called on a mission to New Zealand about 1965. They went on two missions and the second one was to Austrailia. These pictures were taken in New Zealand. The top one Pipaiwai New Zealand. Grandma told a story about having Christmas there. They were proud of their missions and often told stories about their experiences.

Grandpa was an adventerous soul and would drag Grandma here and there. She was a city slicker from Salt Lake City, and she lived in Eureka, Escalante. Some of her grandchildren thought she was an actual pioneer because of her experiences. Grandpa took her on an around the world trip, and although she said she feared many of her experiences, she probably wouldn't have traded them in for anything. It made her who she was.

Joseph was willing to go anywhere and do anything. He dedicated his life to the Church, and his testimony was strong. He often said that he and grandma sat down when they were first married and said, that either we are Mormon all the way or not at all. They were Mormon all the way and passed on their faith to their children and grandchildren and their posterity.

Dear Barbara - What a wonderful work you have put together. Joseph Hyrum Neville is my great great grandfather William Neville's brother. My sister is giving a report on Joseph Hyrum and Ann Lydia West in DUP next week and was thrilled to find all of this information. Thank you for the great work you have done.
