Annie West
Joseph William Neville Senior's Mother. Annie West Neville was the one that as a little girl her parents sent her from London ahead of the family. She and her sister Caroline went to Utah with another family. They wound up having to find their own way to Utah and sang for food as they crossed the plains and relied on the kindness of others to get them to Utah. Their parents followed later and they were reunited.
John Taylor Wanted Poster
John Taylor, the LDS prophet and a great grandfather was wanted for pologamy. He was in hiding in Farmington and other places in Davis county. He eventually died in Kaysville, Utah while he was hiding. He is worth $300.
James and Agnes Taylor
John Taylors Parents. They both went to Canada after they left England. They joined the Church with John and went to Nauvoo and then went to Salt Lake City. They are buried in the oldest part of the Salt Lake City Cemetary
Ezra Oakley Taylor
Son of John Taylor and Mary Ann Oakley. He is the father to Julia Taylor Neville. He was a dentist in Salt Lake City. He wanted to be a carpenter, but his father John Taylor, the prophet wanted him to go to Dental School because they needed dentists in Zion.
Ida Whipple Taylor
Wife of Ezra Oakley Taylor and the daughter of Nelson Wheeler Whipple and Susan Anne Gay. She is the mother to Julia Taylor Neville
Susan Ann Gay
Wife of Nelson Wheeler Whipple and related to the Gay family. She is the mother to Ida Whipple Taylor, who married Ezra Oakley Taylor.
Nelson Wheeler Whipple
Nelson Wheeler Whipple joined the LDS Church near Kirtland, Ohio. He went to Nauvoo and then on to Salt Lake City. He married Susan Ann Gay and they had Ida Whipple. He wrote many journals about his adventures and life as an early saint.
John Taylor
The third president of the LDS Church. He married Mary Ann Oakley in the Nauvoo Temple, right before the Saints were driven from Nauvoo. He is the father of Ezra Oakely Taylor.
Joseph William Neville Jr.
Joseph William Neville Jr. is the son of Joseph William Neville Senior and Milfordetta "Detta" Shipp. He is their oldest son. He married Julia Taylor. They met at the University of Utah in an English class their freshman year. Julia married him over six years later, after he returned from his mission to the Eastern States where his Grandmother and his step Grandfather were serving as the Mission President.
Julia Taylor Neville
Julia wanted to send a picture of herself to Joseph William Neville Junior while he was on a mission. She was always embarrassed about the size of the picture. It was an 8 x 10" in a silver swing frame. Joseph took this picture of her with him to all his areas of his mission. This is one of the two portraits she had done. She chose the one with her smiling. It sat on her dresser for many years.
